Mr. Allmond is excited to be the new Director of Bands at Foster High School!

Prior to being the head director, Mr. Allmond was the Associate Director of Bands at Foster for 4 years. During that team, he helped lead the marching band with an incredible team of directors to consistent BOA regional finals, 2 5A UIL State Marching Contest appearances, consistent Area finalists - even in 6A, and high success in every marching contest. Additionally, Mr. Allmond conducted the Symphonic Band, Concert Band and assisted with the Wind Ensemble.

Mr. Allmond holds a Bachelor's degree from Texas State University in Music Education. He has taught for more than 10 years, all in LCISD! A proud alum of the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps from 2009-2012, Mr. Allmond owes so much of his passion for music, teaching, friendship, determination to this organization.

Mr. Allmond has been married to his wife, Sarah, for 2 years. They have 2 absolutely amazing husky’s Aurora and Tofu. During his free time, he loves to travel, run, bowl, golf (though not very good, he gets his money’s worth by being on the course for longer), read and play video games.
