Jillian Ochsendorf is a trombone performer and educator based in Houston, TX. In addition to extensive teaching experience with high school and middle school programs, she has also worked as the Lecturer of Trombone and Mississippi State University and as an Instructor at the University of Alabama. Throughout her career, she has performed with numerous groups, including the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra, Theatre Tuscaloosa, Brass Band of the Western Reserve, Reno Pops Orchestra, Starkville Symphony Orchestra, Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra, and many others. She recently completed her Doctorate in Musical Arts from the University of Alabama. She also holds a Bachelor of Music in Trombone Performance from Capital University and a Master of Music from the University of Nevada, Reno.
