Fifth grade parents who would like to sign up their child for band:
Please click the link below to schedule your 15 minute slot at one of our “Pick an Instrument” sessions for the 2019-2020 school year. A parent/guardian must be present with their student for their 15 minute session. Music Store vendors will be on site to help with questions regarding renting instruments and obtaining band supplies. Every student is welcomed in the band and no music knowledge is required since this is a beginning band course. All students interested in band will be in a band class and play their selected instrument every day. *Each instrument class is filled on a first come, first serve basis and your child may not get their first instrument choice if they wait too long to select an instrument. Please sign up at the earliest time available since some popular instrument choices can fill up quickly.

In the band, we offer wind instruments and percussion. Watch the video to learn more about each of the instruments we offer in the Wertheimer Band.
Students can try out as many of the instruments that we offer as you would like. They do not have to come knowing what they want to do. We are here to guide them and help them make that decision.
We want every student to be placed on an instrument that they are going to be happy, comfortable, and successful on.
